United States, United States - Marble International Suppliers (MIS) started in the stone business importing marble, travertine, and other various stone products directly. We opened our first wholesale location under the name of world stone distributors in Orlando, Florida in the year 2000. Due to the economic crash and the total freeze of construction, we were forced to explore international opportunities.
We then started working as a quality control agency in the Middle East to represent general contractors, construction companies, and project owners in their stone purchases.MIS had much success due to our extensive knowledge and experience with stone products and their application.
Due to MIS close involvement with factories and quarries; we were able to master critical skills such as choosing quality blocks, ideally applying finishes, carefully preserving materials, and efficiently packaging and delivering products promptly.
Now MIS is manufacturing its own line of products. MIS is supplying distribution centers in all different parts of the word with high quality material. In Nov 2011, MIS merged with Jerusalem Stone Incorporated (www.jsitile.com), a highly successful distributor of stone products from Egypt and Israel. Together we are supplying the needs of clients in the United States market and are able to deliver from 1 to 10,000 Sq/Ft within 3 business days anywhere across the country. We look forward to working with new clients and expanding deeper into the stone business.
